This fall, the San Francisco Symphony's Keeping Score series airs on PBS with three new episodes on composers Berlioz, Ives, and Shostakovich. In this 3 minute trailer, Music Director and host Michael Tilson Thomas introduces viewers to the mysteries hidden beneath the surface of Shostakovich's life-saving Symphony No. 5. This episode of Keeping Score airs in many PBS markets October 29th (check local listings).
