Listen live at 1:45 PST TODAY to Aaron Kahn from TEDxMcGill on "Reviving a Musical Consciousness"

Former SF Symphony Youth Orchestra musician Aaron Kahn speaks today, 11/5 at 1:45 PST about "Reviving a Musical Consciousness" as part of this series of TED-affiliated events. From his email: "At my dress rehearsal yesterday, people were stunned by the music, which is exactly what I'm trying to show with my talk: that societal assumptions have prevented many people from being able to appreciate art music, and that in the right context, they can do what they are actually neurally wired to do, and that is to be inspired. If 300 people are inspired at this talk, they'll spread it to 300 more, etc, etc. " Aaron will feature a clip of the SF Symphony led by Michael Tilson Thomas in Mahler's Second Symphony.
