I usually do not approve of "me too" comments; but I have to support this conclusion that sometimes there are occasions when enthusiastic applause just does not feel right. This was definitely one of those occasions. My Examiner.com piece should now…

Shakespeare caught the imagination of the Romantics (note that you list primarily Romantic composers) after having languished for a century (or two). This was due to the German translations of Shakespeare that happened in the 1700s. Shakespeare was…

Yes, I was one the of the Lamplighters Iolanthe fairies. I wasn't cast in the SFS production, though. And I'm back for this season! I left my job in L.A., and I've rejoined the chorus. See you at rehearsals.
That's wonderful news about Susan Key - I saw that you and she were talking and that you'd invited her to lunch - I'm so glad you were able to do that. Happy to have been a small part of making it happen. Maybe I'll meet you one of these days when you're here with your class. Thanks for participating in the social network - I hope you'll continue to do so. Would you like to write a blog post about your conversation with Susan Key? Maybe there are ideas other teachers could use? Thanks again, Susan.
Hi Susan - I noticed you listed horn as one of your instruments. A new group for horn players has just formed on the San Francisco Symphony social network – hope you’ll check it out and join the conversation! Here’s the link: http://community.sfsymphony.org/group/hornplayers
