- Julia Fischer! I saw her in 1990 when she was just 17, and it was clear that she was a a powerful player with a real future. Bartoli, Ingrid Fliter. Thomas Questhoff. Kathleen Battle. Stephen Kovacevich: his Beethoven is sublime.

- Beethoven, Schubert, Brahms, Wagner, Verdi, Handel, Tchaikovsky.

- I used to play classical guitar
- My favorite concert of all time:
- A recent performance of the Brahms Piano Quintet. A close second would be the Kirov Ring.

- I am addicted to Tchaikovsky Ballets. I adore Brahms chamber music and his piano concertos. Middle Beethoven rules! I'm a Ring head!
