Dear Nan,
I bet i am the only one on the social network who admittedly loves Barry Manilow, Air Supply, and Earth, Wind, & Fire!
If I don't see you, have a great Thanksgiving!

Thank you, Nan. It was delightful to meet you. I appreciate so much the programming and partnership of Keeping Score and SFS. I've learned so much over these three years, and hope to continue to share my love of music and the SFS with as many Oklahomans as I can.

Wow...if you had anything to do with helping bring "Die Soldaten" to the Armory last year, all I can say is I will forever be in your debt. I know that work inside and out, and hearing such a spectacular performance and production ( I caught two of the performances -- and would have gone to more if I could have), was an incredible experience. It brought tears to my eyes. And ears.

Now....could we get some Zimmermann on a SF Symphony program? Plenty of great orchestral work in his oeuvre. "Musique pour les soupers du Roi Ubu" would go over nicely with any audience, even a conservative one (!)

Hey Nan,
Good luck with this. Can't wait to see how it works.
Glad to hear your ears are still learning!

I'm glad to be connected and curious to see what possibilities will emerge. I'm taking my 4th grandchild to the family series this Saturday - he'll be 6 in September and this will be his first concert ever. His mom is convinced he's ready. Wish me luck! Mary

Excellent description! I just couldn't get over their stamina, or the crowd's for that matter. As for Rosemary, absolutely. I had meant to email her, but things have been a bit out of control of late--I would love to meet up with her, thanks for being the inadvertent intermediary,
T.

Do you know, I was having a hard time coming up with a favorite concert because I was limiting myself to strictly classical, but THAT was an amazing concert--one of my favorite NY and Lincoln Center experiences, and just before I left--excellent choice!
