Interested in all, but addicted to Bach, Beethoven, Brahms, Bartok, Chopin, Mozart, Mendelsohn, Shostakovich, Schulhoff, Janacek, Martinu
The instrument(s) I play (or played, as a kid):
Piano, flute.
My favorite concert of all time:
2008 Carmel Bach Festival: Bach's Mass in B Minor. The real time English subtitles of the libretto are essential to understanding and feeling the depth and meaning of this uplifting choral work.
What I’d like people on this social network to know about me:
I'm a fan of the SF Symphony pre-concert lectures, and of MTT's entertaining efforts to spread musical appreciation.
How I’m connected with the San Francisco Symphony:
as a fan, go to concerts

Hi Geoff - welcome to the SF Symphony social network, and congratulations on becoming our 400th member! Hope you find it a fun and interesting place to hang out. Maybe you would like to start a series of short blog posts, "Addicted to....(fill in the blank with a short blurb on whatever you're listening to...) and post them on your blog here. I can then feature the individual blog entries on the front page of the site. Good way to keep people informed about interesting music you've discovered.
